TOKYO: Harajuku Takeshita Dori Crepes 竹下通り

One of my favourite go to place in Tokyo is Meiji Jing-gu. Somehow I dont know why but Japanese Shrines always give me a sense of peace. I think I feel the happiest and at ease whenever I step into the shrine.

Usually there's quite a bit of walking to do when youre visiting a shrine like Meiji Jinggu because there's just so many different gates and gardens and the main hall is really.. haha quite a distant. I am ALWAYS hungry after a visit to the shrine.

Post shrine, I usually drop by Harajuku. I really like this place because it's perfect to people watch. Harajuku is home to many of Japan's youth sub-cultures and is a magnet for cosplayers and merchants of cool.
Another reason is because, THEY ARE CREPE SHOPS :D YES DESSERTS!!

There are 4 crepes shop present.
1. Santa Monica
2. Marion Crepes
3. Cafe crepes Angel hearts
4.Sweet Box

You know, I'm a very very loyal person. Once I like something or somebody or a certain shop, I feel this sense of betrayal over me whenever I do not stick to them.
I remember asking a bunch of Japanese girls during my first trip to Tokyo which crepe is the best, and they unanimously said CAFE CREPES ANGEL HEARTS!

Henceforth, I have been patronising cafe crepes since 2013. I've been told that Cafe crepes angel heart is one of the oldest crepe shop in harajuku!

Cafe crepes serves both savoury and sweet crepes. But I'm a bigger fan of sweet crepes. (:
Savoury crepes.. should only be eaten at a French creperie. hahaha

 Strawberry cheesecake

 Chocolate banana cream

TADAH. Okay, this was the day I went crazy and ate 2 crepes consecutively. Until I had to photoshop my fat face to make it skinnier wtf.

Now that I'm getting more serious about this blog, I promise I will definitely return to try out the other 3 crepes. Hopefully maybe Nick will be able to help with me a blind test from all 4 crepe places.

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates!
