ADELAIDE: Ramen & Izakaya Himeji Degustation/Kaiseki 1

Nicholas and I have always wanted to try the degustation every since Himeji opened. But you know how both of us are like, we are super passive, if nobody organises anything, nothing gets done. So we just keep pushing it away away away until one day when Ha Lu got into Radiology training, I told Nick, THIS IS IT. We are going to have the degustation with Annie and Ha Lu.

And it turns out, Himeji has been in business for a couple of years now already but NOBODY has gone for this degustation before :o
Chef Ikeda ( the Japanese father I've never had ) was super excited ( he trained as a kaiseki chef ) and so were we !

We had this meal on 12th May 2018...when my hair was still long lol

I'm just looking at what I wrote on my instagram and it says " can't believe we waited so long to have our first kaiseki meal in Adelaide! we enjoyed ourselves so much we are probably gonna make this a monthly affair "
