ADELAIDE: Hancook Restaurant

Was introduced by a friend to try out Hancook. Have been there probably 3 times, and I haven't been disappointed by them at all before. So I've heard, the chef owned a successful korean restaurant in Sydney and has decided to relocate over to Adelaide for whatever reasons. Lucky us !

They are really generous with their side dishes, and are always serving a different kind every time I visit!
The most notable one they served which I've never had at other places was the konnyaku, a jelly-like food made from the corm of the konjac plant.

What I recommend:

1) FRIED CHICKEN. I usually order the sweet and spicy deep friend chicken. Plus point, it is BONELESS.  ( Medium $25, Large $35)
2) Stirfried pork and squid - spicy, comes with rice ($20)

3) Ox bone soup, comes with rice ($18)

4) Beef rib soup, comes with rice ($22)

5) Corn with cheese $10 ( top right)  and Spicy stir fried octopus with thin noodles (below corn)

I wouldn't recommend trying the Kimchi pancake here, I thought it wasn't fantastic. I would prefer the Kimchi pancake from Sushi Gallery or +82 Pocha
