ADELAIDE: FermentAsian

A modern South East Asian restaurant tucked away in Barossa, I take all my friends who come over for a visit here. And don't make the mistake of ordering A la Carte, you have to part with that $70 for the Chef's tasting menu. By the way, its also named 2017 South Australia #3 Restaurant !

Thit lon cuon la lot - Fresh betel leaves with sticky caramelised Hampshire pork and incendiary components

Nem Ha Noi Hanoi Spring Rolls with fresh herbs and classic Vietnamese dipping sauce
Somehow, viet spring rolls wins all other springrolls hands down.

Lon voi gung va cam Barossa Hampshire pork belly with ginger and orange sauce

Very satisfied meal, my mom was extremely pleased.

Of course, no trip to Barossa is ever complete without doing the most touristy thing.
A VISIT TO PENFOLD'S!

Absolutely love their Viognier, which is only available at this cellar door. I always stock up whenever I pass by.

Then off to Maggie Beer for some ice cream and phototaking.

And I finally learnt, after 25 years, that this fruit is called a quince.
