ADELAIDE: Hardy's Varendah Restaurant

" I'm calling to confirm your booking on Saturday night, for 2, at 7pm ? Is there any special occasion at all ? "
" um.... no. "
" oh, it's just that people who dine with us usually have some special occasion * awkward laughter * "

So....we heard that there's a new restaurant in town ! And we just had to check it out because we are greedy like that.

Hardy's Varendah restaurant is a new addition to Mount Lofty House, in Adelaide Hills and offers one of the best views in the state overlooking Piccadilly Valley

There's 2 menu available - short story and full story, 4 and 7 courses respectively.

I always feel that one should never ever settle for half a degustation because if the food is good, you'll just be filled with regrets after.

Pictures are in order of the full story menu.

( they changed the full blood wagyu to duck. And I'm so glad they did, I reckon having a wagyu slice might have just been too much )

Really got to comment on this fig leave sorbet - tastes weird by itself, but when eaten together with chocolate cake, AMAZING.

Really enjoyed yourselves during this meal, good food, good service, good view.
Definitely a restaurant to return to in the future! And definitely a place to celebrate a special occasion or impress your date !  ( boys, please note. Haha )
