If you plan to go to Karato Market, and you decide to listen to me and choose the quickest route from Fukuoka, you will 100% land up in Mojiko. I mean, yeah I have previously mentioned that I never make 100% guarantees because I have learnt painful lessons that nothing in life is every 100%. But as of now 7 January 2019, 1045pm, it is 100% you will have to pass by Mojiko, because this is where you take the Ferry across to Karato market.

You should be really full by the time you ended your food adventure in Karato. But if your stomach is a super expandable J shape muscular bag i.e You are greedy, Mojiko is best known for Yaki Curry ( Grilled curry with cheese) . They are so well known for Yaki Curry until they even have a map for it
I am very greedy, hence Nick and I decided to share a Yaki Curry before we return to Fukuoka. There really isn't much recommendations regarding which restaurants to go to. We just picked the nearest one we saw. It's number 8 on the map.
It's tasty yes, but I don't think it's my kind of thing. It's just curry sauce with cheese. This shop is good because it comes with an egg. Growing up in an asian family, I've never had curry without any meat or vegetable in it.... so yeah, plain curry is really.. not my kind of thing.
The hot yuzu drink I ordered is really good tho!
