Mine was Merci. I love how smooth their chocolate was and best, they were packaged so nicely!
But they were considerably more expensive than some of the other more budget chocolates I used to have on a more daily basis.
I guess you could say the chocolate I'm MOST familiar with from childhood is KIT KAT !
I remember 2 used to be too much so I used to break it into half and share it with my dad.
It used to previously just come in one flavour and thats milk chocolate......
Paid a visit to the Ginza Kit kat chocolatory which opened just over a year ago operating under the supervision of Yasumasa Takagi, owner chef of Le Patisserie Takagi.
Honestly, I dont know who this guy is and I've never tried his cakes :/ But I'm sure it must be good because....
Mr Takagi has been supervising the development of new flavours of Kit kat from 2003 and various novel and yummy kit kat has been created under his supervision so far.
We didn't buy any of the special flavoured kit kat this time round because I didnt want to be lugging around kit kats for one month while I travel, and all the more I didn't want to be stuffing my face in kit kat and then end up with a sore throat for the trip bleh.
Decided to have a taste at the cafe on the 2nd level......
Complimentary kitkat of unknown flavour. yummy tho !
Ordered their signature parfait !
And that filled me up for the rest of the late afternoon...
Parfait 1 Vera 0.
