There's only a couple of Japanese restaurants I go to. My most frequent would be Genki sushi and Himeji. Just because Chef Shozo and Jason are the best!
But occasionally, I do cheat *sigh* and patronise other restaurants. One of which is Ichitaro.
Such a disappointment they don't have my favourite clam sake soup on the menu anymore ):
This was one of their specials - bonito tataki I think. Pretty good.

I think when it comes to having sushi and sashimi, genki and himeji are still the places to do. The fish didn't feel very fresh to be honest.
But fresh enough to not give me the runs! So I guess.. thats.. acceptable standards haha
